Millbrook Park Phases 7&8 Landscape
Bringing together a wider masterplan
Overview
The landscape design for this 330-home scheme connects with the existing and future phases of the wider 2,240-home Millbrook Park masterplan in north London.
Working with the Assael architectural team, the landscaping ensures the proposal responds to and complements this consented masterplan.
The landscape design links with existing streets and pathways to create a place that is legible and easy to navigate, and provides a range of vibrant, safe external spaces for the entire community to enjoy, including residential courtyards, public realm and a ‘village’ green at the heart of the scheme.
This central space provides an urban woodland and ecological garden with swales and ponds and dense biodiverse planting and trees.
The steep level change of 15 metres across the site had a significant influence on the sitewide landscape design, and offered the opportunity to create natural views over the village green and adjacent ‘central park.’
