Assael exhibit Build to Rent schemes at Expo Real in Munich
We’re currently in Munich exhibiting alongside 17,000 other professionals at Expo Real, Europe’s largest trade show for property and investment opportunities.
At this year’s event, we’re showcasing our Build to Rent schemes in the emerging UK residential Private Rented Sector (PRS) and the benefits of residential developments purpose-designed for private rent, similar to Multi-Family Housing in the United States.
Assael is one of the leading architects in this sector with a number of Build to Rent schemes underway, including Young Street and Hortensia Road for Grainger plc, both currently on site in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the family-friendly Creekside Wharf development for Essential Living in Greenwich. We’ll also be discussing our emerging plans for Legal and General as well as for Pontoon Dock on the Mayor of London’s gateway site to Barrier Park. Following selection by the Greater London Authority for Bouygues Development and Assael to design and develop this exemplary purpose-designed residential scheme for private rent, we’re due to submit a planning application shortly. Grainger plc, backed by the London Authorities Pension Fund, will subsequently operate and manage the development for the long-term.

Through our research and our work with the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) UK Residential Council and with our extensive experience in all forms of residential design, we have developed a design approach suited to meet this challenge”.
