Renaissance picks up Highly Commended for ‘Best Large Housing Development.’

Our Renaissance scheme in Loampit Vale, Lewisham has been awarded Highly Commended at the LABC Building Excellence Awards.

Lewisham’s Renaissance scheme is one of the largest housing developments in the capital and plays a key part in the rejuvenation of Lewisham Town centre.  It delivers 795 new homes, community facilities and a contemporary leisure centre.

Phase 1 of the development is now complete and was recognised by the annual Building Excellence Awards, which is all about the essence of good buildings. The development even beat off competition from the Olympic Village. The finalists are not judged on architectural beauty, but on the “Excellence” shown from a construction and technical building control point of view.

The site will be fully complete in 2015.
