Planning success for two new residential schemes in Richmond and Camden

We’re on a roll with planning success as we get the green light for two London developments.

The two schemes in Richmond and Camden will provide a total of 43 new homes.

Our first scheme, Waldegrave Road, sits to the north of Teddington High Street and will replace a number of dilapidated warehouse buildings. It is designed to integrate the site into the surrounding neighbourhood and provide 18 private townhouses and 18 apartments surrounding a new residential square.

Housing typologies within the local area were studied and the row of Edwardian houses adjacent to the site are reflected in the design, palette and materials used. Red London stock brick is utilised along with slate roof tiles and black painted timber doors.

Similarly, the approved 2 Mornington Terrace site in the London Borough of Camden’s Conservation Area sits on a disused public house and has been carefully designed to reflect those surrounding listed houses and retain the traditional façade and windows of the original building.

The residential building on the corner of Mornington Terrace and Mornington Place provides seven apartments with contemporary double-height duplex units at ground and basement floor levels. A number of apartments have their own private terraces and there is a communal landscaped garden to the rear of the property.
