Regenerating an under-performing shopping centre site in the heart of Hounslow
Overview
This vision for this comprehensive masterplan is to regenerate the existing site of the Treaty Centre in the heart of Hounslow by creating a vibrant new mixed-use scheme on the site of the currently under-performing shopping centre.
The masterplan supports a range of sustainable land uses, including a community theatre, restaurants, offices, new healthcare facilities and a hotel, interspersed with 1,360 much-needed new homes for Hounslow.
The new homes and mix of uses will increase footfall and the day and night-time population in a sustainable location, adding to the vitality and viability of Hounslow.
High-quality new public realm and intelligent placemaking will create new links and improve connectivity to the high street, wider town centre and local transport infrastructure, with a new, lush public square at the heart of the site.
