Assael announces two new promotions

We are pleased to announce two well-deserved promotions within the Assael team: James Baron to Associate Director and Bronwyn Cane to Associate Interior Designer.

James joined Assael in 2011 and since completing his architectural studies has gone on to lead several complex projects at the practice.

James’ work in high-density residential developments, including build-to-rent projects and urban regeneration, has distinguished him as a leader in the field. Key projects include the implementation of Charter Square Phase 1 for London Square, a 260-home residentially-led project which was crucial in reviving the neglected high-street in Staines-Upon-Thames and the Renaissance project for Barratt London where he designed and delivered 11 Code 6 townhouses in Lewisham, which were among the first homes in the UK to gain this certification. He has also been leading the team on the technical design of the former Boddington’s Brewery site in Manchester and most recently has become involved in the redevelopment of the Bath Gasworks site in Somerset.

Promoting James to Associate Director was an obvious decision for the practice, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see him step into this new role.

Bronwyn, who joined our practice in June of this year, quickly took on a leadership role within our interiors team and has since led on multiple Assael projects. Her extensive experience in interior design has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team, which made the decision to promote her into Associate Interior Designer, an easy and natural choice.

Bronwyn’s work on Platform Leeds and Starlight Copperhouse in Dartford has been particularly noted for its design and the meticulous crafting of interior amenity spaces within the build-to-rent sector.

Bronwyn said, “I couldn’t be happier about this incredible opportunity and extremely grateful. Assael Interiors has got a very bright and exciting future.”

We are confident that in this new role, she will continue to elevate our projects and be a driving force for our developing interiors team.

Once again congratulations to both James and Bronwyn on your well-deserved promotions.
