Assael takes to the seas at the Little Britain Challenge Cup

Assael Architecture will be attending the 27th annual Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC), taking place in Cowes, Isle of Wight, from 11-12 September.

This year’s property and construction industry regatta has attracted over 60 yachts, which will all take part in five races over two days in the Solent.

Russell Pedley, Director at Assael, said: “We’re delighted to be taking part at this year’s Little Britain Challenge Cup. It’s a team affair, with our yacht crewed entirely by our team. Alongside organisations from across the industry, from Crest Nicholson to Galliford Try and Lend Lease, we’ll do our best to win something, but whatever the outcome, we’re pleased to support such a brilliant event that raises so much money for charity.”

Since the LBCC was founded in 1988, it has raised over £1.25 million for several charities, including the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, Jubilee Sailing Trust, Cirdan Trust and the Paralympic British Sailing Team. It also supports local island charities including Cowes Sea Cadets, St John Ambulance and Cowes Sailability Club.
