Assael in the running for ‘Architect of the Year’

Two Assael schemes have been shortlisted at The Sunday Times British Homes Awards and we’ve made the finals for Architect of the Year.

Our Macaulay Walk scheme for Grainger plc in Clapham Old Town has been shortlisted for Development of the Year and Mixed-use Development, whilst our regeneration scheme for Barratt London, Renaissance in Lewisham, is also up for Mixed-use Development.

This year, we’re also a contender for ‘Architect for The Year’, which the practice won in 2008. The award goes to the architectural practice that submits the most impressive portfolio across the categories and that demonstrate commitment to sustainable regeneration, the establishment of new communities, strong architectural design and landscaping, including innovative construction methods.

The results will be revealed at the annual luncheon in September.
