The Greenwich Hotel gets shortlisted at International Hotel & Property Awards

The 145-bedroom boutique hotel in Greenwich has successfully made it through to the finals at the International Design Awards run by design-et-al.

The renovated hotel has been shortlisted for the Hotel (50-200 rooms) Award.

The former Police Section House, Maurice Drummond House, stood derelict for a number of years and was subject to a number of failed restoration attempts.

Our design has maintained the original external appearance of the building and architectural features whilst constructing a contemporary glazed two-storey addition at roof level. The hotel includes a bar and restaurant, and bedrooms provide impressive views across Central London and the City.

The luxury hotel that sits within the Ashburnham Triangle Conservation Area in Greenwich opened its doors to the public earlier this year and has already made it to Trip Advisor’s list of top 100 hotels in London.

The winners will be announced in June 2014 at a glittering award ceremony in Venice.
