Assael’s band, Tender Package, ready to compete at this year’s Construction Rocks
Our in-house band, Tender Package, prepare to raise the roof and lots of money for charity when they play the construction industry’s annual Battle of the Bands, Construction Rocks 2013.
The six-piece band will be adding their own twist to a number of monster hits on the night as part of their 15 minute set where each band is awarded points by a panel of judges.
Tender Package is made up of Ben Channon (vocals), Chris Goldsmith (lead guitar & vocals), John Lynch (bass), Nick ‘Stix’ Wheeler (drums), Sam Charles (vocals) and Olivia Hillery (keyboard).
They will also be up for Best Newcomer and are hoping to provide some great entertainment on the night as well as raise plenty of money for our chosen charity.
So far the event has raised almost £50k for its chosen charity LandAid over the years and has become the key music event in the construction calendar.
Last year saw Balfour Beatty’s band ‘Zero Charm’ take the crown.
